Backyard
Backyard coatings are typically exposed to the elements. Coatings applied in the backyard must have the performance properties that can withstand the backyard environment. Common concerns for a coating system in a backyard environment are moisture and UV exposure. Our MoistureLok product helps lower the moisture penetration through the coating substraightthus improving the adhesion of the coating over the long term. Polyaspartic and Acrylic based coatings are strong contenders for backyard application due to their UV-stable properties. Epoxy based coatings inherently yellow and brittle overtime due to UV exposure.

Seal, protect and beautify your paver patios, walkways and driveways. Paver stones typically feature rich, dark, and vibrant earthy tones. These colors however are usually muted by the brick’s dull appearance. In order to bring out these natural colors you can wet the bricks with water, you’ll begin to see rich and vibrant colors come to life out of your bricks. This wet look is only short lived with water, thanks to coatings and sealers we can bring out this enhanced appearance of your pavers on a much more permanent basis. Coating and/or sealing your paver stones will enhance their appearance and protect their surface. Coatings and sealers have a life cycle like anything else, nothing lasts forever. The good news is that sealers are very inexpensive, and you can re-seal your pavers every year or every other year as needed to bring back that enhanced appearance.
Applicable Products
Solvent-borne Acrylic Coating / Sealer
This sealer is based on a solid thermoplastic acrylic resin dispersed in xylene and other solvents. Possible applications of this acrylic coating / sealer are practically endless. This formulation has been used as a binder in marine coatings, printing inks, metal coatings, concrete coatings, and more. For use in concrete and paver stones / bricks this acrylic binder or sealer creates an attractive decorative protection because of its very good weathering resistance.
This material can be made either matte or glossy, most customers prefer the glossy “wet” appearance on their paver stones patios. This sealer can even be pigmented to create a seamless floor coating. This coating / sealer has a very long pot life, quick return to service time, relatively good hardness, lightfast and chemically resistant coating films compared to other acrylic coatings and sealers on the market.
Water-borne Acrylic Coating / Sealer
This is a self cross linking acrylic emulsion in water for use in cementitious (concrete / brick substrates) applications. This acrylic latex can be used as a clear or pigmented coating / sealer for to provide that “wet look” or a uniform color to your substrates. This material provides excellent chemical, hot tire pick-up, and weathering resistance. As well, this material features good dirt-pick-up, hot tire and blush resistance.
Will provide similar appearance to solvent-borne acrylic coating / sealers, however, waterborne has advantages that it can be applied after the substrate has been cleaned with water. As well, in high moisture and efflorescence prone areas this material is better at blocking efflorescence than a comparable solvent system. Slightly higher solids and cost compared to low cost solvent-borne dispersions, considerably lower cost compared to polyurethane/polyaspartic systems.
Polyurethane / Polyaspartic Coating
For longer lasting sealing and protection you can use a polyurethane or polyaspartic clear coating that has been cut down to penetrate paver stones more efficiently. These materials will provide longer lasting protection (stronger cross linking bond compared to acrylic sealers), long lasting enhanced visual appearance, excellent chemical resistance, and excellent UV resistance. However, these materials are considerable more costly than a traditional acrylic coating and sealer for paver stones.

Playgrounds feature many different colorful substrates that require our coatings and binders. Metal pipes and architectural structures require protective coatings to protect from corrosion, rust, sun exposure and more. Enhance your playground floor underneath swings and play areas with rubber crumb floors that are beautiful, soft, and playful flooring solutions for playgrounds. And for larger concrete areas perhaps a colorful concrete coating. All of our products can be custom tinted to match and create any color scheme you are looking for. As well, our products have been used to coat many railings, pipes, and roller coasters at multiple theme parks!
Applicable Products
Solvent-borne Acrylic Coating / Sealer
Low cost affordable way to add color to cementitious substrates. Easy to apply, clean, and apply maintenance coats in the future. Low resistance to high traffic, recommended for low traffic areas.
Water-borne Acrylic Coating / Sealer
Low cost affordable concrete coating, add colorful walkways to your playground area. Easy to apply, clean and apply maintenance coats in the future. Low resistance to high traffic, recommended for low traffic areas.
Polyurethane / Polyaspartic Coating
Excellent corrosion protection and high abrasion (wear) resistance. Great for high traffic areas, very durable and will last longer than non crosslinked coatings. Easy to clean and maintain. Can be tinted with any custom color you want to match your park.
Rubber Crumb Overlay
Perfect flooring material for kid’s play areas, softer than concrete. Can order custom colored EPDM rubber and even tint the rubber as desired. Match your park and walkway colors.

Pool decking doesn’t last forever, especially when harsh chemicals used to clean your pool are often on the deck eating at the surface. Salt water pools and chlorine pools, both use chemicals and are tough on concrete and other decking materials. Resurfacing your pool deck is often more cost effective than replacing it altogether. Consider resurfacing your pool deck with a concrete polymer overlay, soft rubber binder overlay, or a coating. Protect, beautify, and make your pool deck more enjoyable.
Applicable Products
Solvent-borne Acrylic Coating / Sealer
Low cost affordable method of beautifying your pool deck with a coating / sealer. Fast dry time and hardness development, moderate chemical and good UV resistance. This will material is low cost, very easy to apply, and requires yearly or bi-yearly maintenance of additional coats to bring it back to life as it wears. We recommend adding anti-slip additive to prevent slips and falls around the pool.
The end contractor / applicator is responsible for ensuring proper non-slip surfaces conform to Federal, State and local regulations.MoreWater-borne Acrylic Coating / Sealer
Another low cost, affordable way to revamp and bring your pool deck back to life. This coating can be applied clear or pigmented. Very easy to use and recoat/reseal in the future. This self cross-linking acrylic latex emulsion has excellent chemical and uv resistance. Maintenance coats every year or other year are recommended to keep your surface looking like new. We recommend adding anti-slip additive to prevent slips and falls around the pool.
The end contractor / applicator is responsible for ensuring proper non-slip surfaces conform to Federal, State and local regulations.MorePolyurethane / Polyaspartic Coating
Coat your existing concrete pool deck with a polyurethane or polyaspartic coating. These materials provide excellent chemical and UV resistance for many years. Resurface your pool deck with a solid color, a chip/flake patterned floor, metallic, and more. A solid color floor will be inherently slippery, floors with chips can provide additional slip resistance.
It is the responsibility of the contractor and applicator to ensure that your floor conforms to Federal, State and local regulations as it pertains to slip resistance.MoreRubber Crumb Overlay
Use rubber crumbs to overlay your existing pool deck and or patio. Rubber crumb overlay is soft, good looking, easy to apply, and provides built in anti-slip features. Utilizing a moisture cure urethane binder you have plenty of time to mix and apply this material. You can use virgin (new) EPDM rubber or recycled tire rubber crumb if you are environmentally conscious. This mix of EPDM rubber combined with a sophisticated binder provides a durable, long lasting pool deck surface.

Seal and re-seal your wooden decks and patios. Sealing your wood deck and patio can extend the life of it and require less maintenance over the years. Wood is composed of cellulosic cells that like to swell and hold water. Which is why decks need to be sealed and resealed over the years. Sealing your deck is easy using solventborn or waterborne coatings and sealers. For added cost and better protection you can also use a polyurethane or polyaspartic coating and sealer.
